DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHICH WERE MY BEST HOLIDAYS?
In 2012, I was 10 years old and I went on vacation to Australia. My uncle had been living there for two years with his partner for his work and he invited my grandmother, my mother, my sister and I to go on vacation for a month, and stay in his apartment in Townsville.
The plane trip was from Santiago to New Zealand and from there to Sydney and then Brisbane where we took a flight to Townsville.
In Australia we visited many places, the first days we went to the beach and toured the Strand Park, then we went for a walk and climbed Castle Hill where there was a beautiful view. We went to Charter Towers City, there was a place we went that I don't remember the name of but we met a lot of waterfalls in that place. We also went to the Zoo where the kangaroos were loose along with other animals, at the zoo they let you take a koala and take a picture of you, I also took a snake and an alligator, I met the Wombat which is a beautiful and very lazy animal, I saw Cassowary who is Ostrich's familiar. One week we went to Queensland where we stayed in a hostel and we took a catamaran that is a boat that took us to the Great Barrier Reef, we did snorkeling and I saw many fish, turtles, coral of various colors, we saw a clown fish and it was tiny . We also went to Sydney, there we stayed in a bed and breakfast, we visited the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. I remember going to a giant aquarium and seeing a lot of sharks and we went to other places that I don't remember.
I spent my birthday there in Townsville, I turned 11 and it was an incredible experience.
So far it has been the best vacations, for having had the opportunity to go to the other side of the world, to visit and see so many places, for having seen my uncle, and to meet new species.
I'll leave some photos for you to see.
